CMII Certification at a glance |
|
|
Individuals can be certified as can whole organisations. In addition there is the possibility to certify software tools with CMII functionality.
For individuals there are 5 types of certification from "CMII Basics" up to "CMII Professional". These show the actual level of knowledge of that person.
Organisations which use the CMII standard will be certified in 5 process maturity steps from "Unaware" to "Excellent" according to the status of CMII implementation. In addition there are further certification possibilities for organisations which provide CMII solutions and/or services.
CMII-certified software tools receive up to a 5 "star" rating depending on the CMII functionality they provide.

Business Certification CMII Users |
|
 Businesses which are currently improving their existing processes by using the principles of the CMII Standard should allow themselves to be officially certified. This achieves internal clarity about what has been achieved to date and also important transparency externally. People Certifications |
|
|
 Individuals can run through 5 certification levels - from CMIIB (Basics) until CMIIP (Professional) certification. Those internationally acknowledged certifications are non-transferable and linked to individual persons. They provide evidence about the individuals' skill level regarding Configuration Management and CMII.
