In this phase the measures necessary to fulfil the application requirements developed in Phase II will be defined and planned (4 to 8 weeks).
Activities
Which activities (in detail) must be carried out are largely dependent on the initial situation in your organisation and application requirements (=Goal definition) defined in Phase II. The following activities are always necessary:
- Determining the delta between the target condition and current situation, a so-called assessment or appraisal
- Deriving the required measures to reach the target condition
- Determination and definition of the necessary specifications for your sector
- Determination and planning of the training requirements and core team members and other participants.
- Determining and planning of the necessary measures regarding tools (e.g. evaluation- and test phases)
- Planning and defining of the indicators for determining the degree of success in meeting the goal criteria (so-called KPIs)
- Rough time planning for the deployment of the individual measure and estimating of resource requirements.
