In this 1-day course the participants receive an overview of the CMII standard for Configuration Management. The course is ideal for those who are not totally sure if taking the CMII course series is the right thing, or if they should send the colleagues to the training sessions. Course 11 participants get the first day and the course fee of Course 11 100% offset when they afterwards book the CMII course series (C1 -> C6), i.e. for them course 1 starts first on the second day.

The course participants receive in one day the following information about Configuration Management (CMII):

• Why organisations should work on the basis of requirements
• How requirements should be structured and linked to each other
• What corrective actions are, what their cause is, and how they can be minimised
• How new products are developed at the same time „correctly“ documented using CMII (the CMII Process model)
• How the CMII change process works
• How between 75 and 85% of all changes can be implemented in a simplified process (Fast-Track)
• How interpretation-free interchangeability rules should look
• How and why the CM processes can be harmonised
