Content

This hands-on course focuses on the paradigms whose shifts are most important and also most challenging to those implementing CMII.

Course participants will perform a variety of roles and, by the end of the third day, they will have performed all facets of the CMII process.

As top management, they will create a Strategic Business Plan and identify the core business processes and owners for a specific business.

As core business process owners, they will create the enterprise operating standards and procedures and populate the enterprise baseline.

As cross-functional development team members, they will develop a product, create its design basis and hierachy and populate its baseline.

In each of the last two scenarios, they will perform as CRB members as changes are made to the enterprise and the product baselines.

As supply chain specialists, they will use production plans and planning bills to drive the period-by-period requirements for each physical item.

As document creators/users, they will create and validate designs and processes for physical items and procedures for administrative tasks.

As a 3-member creator/user team, they will execute work flows for physical items and administrative tasks and also process changes.
