We do offer CMII Certification Courses and Courses on traditional CM (PCM Courses). The CMII courses are modular. Courses 1 - 4 provide a detailed theoretical knowledge of the CMII standard - participants receive the first certification stage: "CMII Basics". The subsequent courses 5 - 8 go more in the direction of practical implementation, participants receive the 2nd and 3rd certification stages: "CMII Certified" and "CMII Advanced". The highest certification level is the status "CMII Professional".
PCM Courses provide basics of traditional configuration management.

The table below compares the most important content of both course types PCM and CMII. It segregates both types of courses. It is noted that PCM courses are not a replacement of CMII Courses.

Configuration Management (CM) was developed in the 1960s in the military field. In all CM standards, it is required, amongst other things, that the physical product (the so called "as-built" configuration) must match 100%  with the product definition (-documentation). Today CMII is the standard for enterprise-wide CM.
